I had never met someone so completely honest, pure and collected . always calm from what I could possibly see. caring yet very structured and stern . alani was my best friend at least one of the top of the elite of friends YES my BEST FRIEND .
I miss him alot .For most people today around the world it means the tragedy of the twin towers being attacked and losing loved ones who unknowingly sacrificed their lives without a choice because of political warfare against our country. i’m sorry for that feeling but to me i lost my friend to another terrorist that he lived with for most of his life without him telling any of us . Cancer. It took him and a week from now I’ll talk about how it took my mom last year a week from today .
Alani was and still is one of the most talented people I knew and know . He still haunts me with visits in dreams . gives me advice and watches over me his art was amazing photos amazing and way of life was impeccable
today marks 8years since he left the physical storm of earth and now cast spells on the path of pure love for his friends . i thank him for everything he has ever taught me shown me and continues to visit me in dreams , ideas i get from zines he has made , music he introduced me to , pep talks he has given me when i was down and out sad frustrated , put me in my place when i was wrong and cheered me up when i was sad . long walks from harlem to brooklyn . the courage to move to japan with a 1 way ticket with no where to live and no job and surviving and starting a life there not to mention surviving a tsunami but coming back home to his family but leaving us again till we ourselves reach the next level . Thank you for not forgetting me every once and a while and visiting me while I dream of another hope . i miss you and i love you
